About LENNY
Lenny hails from Cheshire and was involved in the performing arts from a young age.

While in High School, Lenny joined the Lowry Young Actors company in Manchester where he played Francis Flute in A Midsummer Night's Dream and Jack in Lord Of The Flies. The former, directed by Tara Daniels, won the Youth Panel Award at the Manchester Theatre Awards. Lenny was also a member of the Hallé Youth Choir and enjoyed performing regularly with the choir at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester alongside the brilliant Hallé Orchestra.

Lenny then studied Music at the University of Birmingham where he became a member of the Birmingham University Singers, a choir that thrived under the leadership of world-renowned conductors Simon Carrington and Simon Halsey CBE. Lenny performed with the choir at the opening night of the BBC Proms at The Royal Albert Hall, and later at the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church in Berlin, as well as Birmingham Symphony Hall. He graduated from the University with a Bachelor of Music Honours Degree.

Whilst at the University, Lenny developed a passion for Musical Theatre. Alongside academic studies and choir commitments he was heavily involved with the Musical Theatre society where he enjoyed playing Link Larkin in Hairspray, St Jimmy in American Idiot, and Rapunzel's Prince in Into The Woods. Deciding to pursue Musical Theatre, Lenny secured a place at the Royal Academy of Music on its postgraduate Musical Theatre programme. During his time at the Academy, Lenny worked with the Tony award winning composer of Les Misérables and Miss Saigon Claude-Michel Schöenberg, as well as highly acclaimed actors Hadley Fraser and Jenna Russell. He graduated from the Academy with a Master of Arts in Musical Theatre Performance.
Lenny has since made his West End debut in Jason Robert Brown's The Last Five Years, where he played Jamie (standby). This production, directed by Jonathan O'Boyle, ran at the Garrick Theatre and was nominated for two WhatsOnStage Awards. Lenny then reprised the role of Jamie in the international tour of the same production, where the show played in Taiwan and China for the first time in its impressive history.

Lenny also originated the role of Josh in Halls, directed by Andy Fickman, at the Turbine Theatre, before going on to play Danny Zuko in Grease aboard Harmony of the Seas with Royal Caribbean International.
